THE ROLE

For the need of our Sopro Data project, we are expanding our in-house Tech Team with an experienced Data Engineer.


Sopro Data is an internal project focused on importing big company data from different providers, manipulating the data to our own model and providing a fast and reliable interface for browsing the data. The solution is a mix of multiple technologies and platforms including .NET, MySQL, Azure Queues, etc.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will own the process of building data streams and ETL processes for huge data sets coming from numerous sources. You will be a part of the database modeling process, as well as extracting knowledge for the gathered data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement high performance data streaming solutions

  • Extract and evaluate data from multiple sources

  • Design data models to satisfy the business requirements

  • Validate data and enable “single version of the truth”

Job requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • Advanced SQL knowledge

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data streaming architecture

  • Data modeling experience

Considered an advantage

  • Working with tools for data integration (SSIS or similar)

  • Experience with .NET technologies

  • Experience with Data Warehouse or Data Vault architecture

  • Setting a data stream solution into a production environment

  • Experience working with Linux systems

  • Experience working with search-engine databases

  • Working with big datasets
